One of the most popular and memorable TV series of the 1980s, The A-Team is going to see a long-anticipated jump to the big screen next year.
Currently, Bradley Cooper (whose recent roles include He's Not That Into You, The Hangover) is the only actor attached to the movie. He is set to play Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck.
But despite only one known cast member, rumors have started to rise regarding who will play the rest of The A-Team. Col. Hannibal Smith is rumored to be played by Bruce Willis, Sgt. Bosco "B.A." Baracus is rumored to be played by Common (of the recent Terminator Salvation), and Woody Harrelson is rumored to play Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock.
The original TV series centered around the four characters listed above, who had been imprisoned for a crime they didn't commit (robbing a bank, which they had done, but under specific orders). They broke out of prison and began working as "heroes for hire". While the original members were veterans of the Vietnam War, it seems that this new movie will translate their story to the war in Iraq.
The A-Team is set for release June 11 of next year.
