Live Action 'Avatar' Under Development

I apologize at the lack of pictures; they seem to have been removed. I am working to solve this as soon as possible.

A live-action version of the popular TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender is under development, being directed by famous director M. Night Shyamalan.

Two photos of the movie have been released, but don't offer a true glimpse into what the movie will be like. Noah Ringer, who will be playing Aang (see below) seems like a good fit, though his signature arrow tatoo looks unfitting, and the Airbender costume he is wearing does not bear many similarities to it's TV counterpart.

Dev Patel will be playing Zuko, the exiled Prince of the Fire Nation who plays the antagonist of the beginning of the series. I don't believe that Shyamalan did a good job in the casting choice for this role, so this leaves me feeling less confident about the production.

We'll just have to wait and see if this movie will be a success, but given M. Night Shyamalan's recent track record, there's a good chance that this movie will crash and burn.
